Newark Light Rail: Weekend Track Work and Boarding Changes – Saturday, July 18 to Sunday, July 19

On Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19 from 6AM to 6:30PM each day, scheduled track work will occur on NJ TRANSIT’s Newark Light Rail resulting in boarding changes as follows:

Saturday, July 18 | 6AM to 6:30PM

• Newark Penn Station: Trains will operate on a regular Saturday schedule with track work affecting a section of Track 5 and Track 1.

All trains will depart from Track 2.
 

Sunday, July 19 | 6AM to 6:30PM

• Trains will operate on a regular Sunday schedule. Track work will affect inbound stations on Track 2 at Park Avenue, Orange and Norfolk Street. The outbound stations will not be affected.

Please allow for extra travel time, check the destination sign prior to boarding, and listen for station announcements.
