Newark Light Rail: Boarding Changes due to Track Work - Weekend - Saturday, July 25 to Sunday, July 26, 2020

On Saturday, July 25 and Sunday, July 26 from 2AM to 6:30PM each day, boarding changes will occur on NJ TRANSIT’s Newark Light Rail due to scheduled track maintenance work as follows:

Saturday, July 25 | 2AM to 6:30PM

• All trains will arrive into Newark Penn Station on Track 5 and depart on Track 1.
• Newark Penn Station tracks 2 and 4 will be out of service. 

IMPORTANT: All trains will operate on a regular Saturday schedule.

Sunday, July 26 | 2AM to 6:30PM

• All trains will arrive on the outbound platforms at Park Avenue, Orange Street and Norfolk Street stations.
• Inbound platforms will be closed at Park Avenue, Orange Street and Norfolk Street stations. 

IMPORTANT: All trains will operate on a regular Sunday schedule.

Please allow for extra travel time, check the destination sign prior to boarding, and listen for station announcements.
