NJ TRANSIT Rail Service: Early Getaway Service for Labor Day Weekend - Friday, September 4 to Monday, September 7, 2020

Beginning Friday, September 4 and continuing until Monday, September 7, NJ TRANSIT trains will operate extra service for Labor Day weekend as follows.

Early Getaway - Friday, September 4

• Trains will operate on a weekday schedule on all lines with “early getaway” service on the Main-Bergen County-Port Jervis and Pascack Valley lines ONLY.
• NOTE: On the North Jersey Coast Line, Monmouth Park service will operate, but on a different schedule than the past several Fridays.
• Printable schedules showing these changes will be available for the Main/Bergen County/Port Jervis, Pascack Valley and North Jersey Coast Lines.

Main/Bergen County/Port Jervis Getaway

• NOTE: To support getaway service, the midday Port Jervis busing will end at 3:00PM.
• Train 99 will operate while trains 49 and 59 will not.

Pascack Valley Line (PVL) Getaway

• Train 9653 will operate while trains 1653 and 1633 will not.

Saturday, September 5

• All NJ TRANSIT Rail lines will operate on a normal weekend schedule.
   

Sunday, September 6

• All NJ TRANSIT Rail lines will operate on a normal weekend schedule.
• NOTE: Northeast Corridor late-night Train 7801 will operate.

Monday, September 7 (Labor Day)

• All NJ TRANSIT Rail lines will operate on a weekend/major holiday schedule.
• NOTE: Additional Port Jervis Line Train 88 will operate.
