Newark Light Rail: Boarding Changes & Schedule Adjustments due to Track Work - Weekend | January 23-24, 2021

On Saturday, January 23 and Sunday, January 24 from 2AM to 6:30PM each day, boarding changes and schedule adjustments will occur on NJ TRANSIT’s Newark Light Rail due to scheduled track maintenance work as follows:

Saturday, January 23, 2AM to 6:30PM

• All trains will arrive on the inbound platforms at Park Avenue, Orange Street, Norfolk Street, Warren Street, Washington Street and Military Park stations.
• Outbound platforms will be closed at Park Avenue, Orange Street, Norfolk Street, Warren Street, Washington Street and Military Park stations.

Sunday, January 24, 2AM to 6:30PM

• All trains will arrive on the outbound platforms at Military Park, Washington Street, Warren Street, Norfolk Street, Orange Street and Park Avenue stations.
• Inbound platforms will be closed at Military Park, Washington Street, Warren Street, Norfolk Street, Orange Street and Park Avenue stations.

IMPORTANT: On both days, all trains will operate on a regular Sunday schedule.

Please allow for extra travel time, check the destination sign prior to boarding, and listen for station announcements.
