CANCELLED: Newark Light Rail: Temporary Service Changes due to Construction - Saturday, January 30, 2021
UPDATE: The track work below has been cancelled for this weekend. Trains are expected to operate on the normal schedule.
On Saturday, January 30 from 6AM to 6PM, service changes on Newark Light Rail will be in effect as follows due to construction:
- Train service will be temporarily discontinued between Grove Street and Branch Brook Park stations in both directions.
- Substitute bus service will operate every 20 minutes between both stations.
- Train service will operate every 20 minutes in both directions between Branch Brook Park and Broad Street stations.
- Train service at Silver Lake Station will be temporarily discontinued.
IMPORTANT: All trains and substitute buses will operate on a regular Saturday schedule.
Please allow for extra travel time, check the destination sign prior to boarding, and listen for station announcements.
