Newark Light Rail: Boarding Changes & Schedule Adjustments due to Track Work: Weekend | May 1-2, 2021

On Saturday, May 1 and Sunday, May 2 from 2AM to 6:30PM each day, boarding changes and schedule adjustments will occur on NJ TRANSIT’s Newark Light Rail due to scheduled track maintenance work as follows:

Saturday, May 1, 2AM to 6:30PM

• All trains will arrive on the outbound platforms at Military Park, Washington Street, Norfolk Street, Orange Street and Park Avenue stations.
• Inbound platforms will be closed at Military Park, Washington Street, Norfolk Street, Orange Street and Park Avenue stations.

Sunday, May 2, 2AM to 6:30PM

• All trains will arrive on the outbound platforms at Park Avenue, Orange Street and Norfolk Street stations.
• Inbound platforms will be closed at Park Avenue, Orange Street and Norfolk Street stations.

IMPORTANT: On both Saturday and Sunday, all trains will operate on a regular Sunday schedule.

Please allow for extra travel time, check the destination sign prior to boarding, and listen for station announcements.
