UPDATE: Somerville Station: Eastbound Platform Improvement Project at Somerville Station - Effective Friday, April 30, 2021
Beginning on or about Friday, April 30 and continuing through the first week of May, NJ TRANSIT will begin re-surfacing and re-coating on the eastbound platform at Somerville Station.
During this time, some benches and garbage cans will be temporarily removed from the eastbound platform. Various sections of the platform will also be closed during this time. Trains can still be boarded from the platforms during construction, however customers should not cross beyond temporary barricades.
Note: Train service will not be affected by this work.
