River LINE: New Jersey Transit Police Department to Conduct Emergency Response Drill – Saturday, May 1, 2021
Beginning at 9AM Saturday, May 1, and continuing for approximately three hours, the NJ TRANSIT Police Department’s Office of Emergency Management, together with local partners, will conduct a training exercise at the River LINE rail yard in Camden.
NOTE: There will be no impact to NJ TRANSIT travel or service during this drill.
Customers are advised that they will see an increased presence of police and emergency personnel throughout the River LINE.
In addition to NJ TRANSIT Police Department’s personnel, Pennsauken Fire Department and Pennsauken Office of Emergency Management will also be participating in the exercise.
The NJ TRANSIT Police Department regularly conducts multiple drills and training sessions simulating various transportation scenarios throughout the statewide system.
