UPDATE: Newark Penn Station: Track 5 North Entrance Temporarily Unavailable for Tile Replacement Work: Beginning Monday, June 14, 2021
UPDATE: Entrance has been reopened.
Beginning on Monday, June 14 and continuing until further notice, the north entrance to Track 5 – located to the left of the Amtrak Customer Service counter in the Main Concourse at Newark Penn Station – will be temporarily unavailable due to tile-replacement work.
To access the platform during this time, customers may use the escalator or adjacent staircase in the Main Concourse's south entrance. Elevator 42 or adjacent Escalator 17 are also available in the North Concourse (vendor's concourse to the left of Amtrak's customer service).
