Newark Light Rail: Boarding Changes & Schedule Adjustments due to Track Work - Weekend | Saturday, July 24 & Sunday, July 25, 2021
On Saturday, July 24 to Sunday, July 25 from 2AM to 6:30PM each day, boarding changes and schedule adjustments will occur on NJ TRANSIT’s Newark Light Rail due to scheduled track maintenance work as follows:
Saturday, July 24, 2AM to 6:30PM
- All trains will arrive on the outbound platforms at Center Street/NJPAC, Atlantic Street, Riverfront Stadium/Ball Park and Broad Street stations.
- Inbound platforms will be closed at Center Street/NJPAC, Washington Park and Broad Street stations.
Sunday, July 25, 2AM to 6:30PM
- All trains will arrive on the inbound platforms at Park Avenue and Orange Street stations.
- Outbound platforms will be closed at Park Avenue and Orange Street stations.
IMPORTANT: All trains will operate on a Sunday schedule both days.
Please allow for extra travel time, check the destination sign prior to boarding, and listen for station announcements.
