Newark Light Rail: Boarding Changes due to Track Work – Saturday, September 25 to Sunday, September 26, 2021

On Saturday, September 25 and Sunday, September 26 from 2AM to 6:30PM each day, boarding changes will occur on NJ TRANSIT’s Newark Light Rail due to scheduled track maintenance work as follows:

Saturday, September 25 | 2AM to 6:30PM

• All trains will arrive on the outbound platforms at Silver Lake and Branch Brook Park stations.
• Inbound platforms will be closed at Silver Lake and Branch Brook Park stations.

IMPORTANT: All trains will operate on a regular Saturday schedule.

Sunday, September 26 | 2AM to 6:30PM

• All trains will arrive on the inbound platforms at Park Avenue and Orange Street stations.
• Outbound platforms will be closed at Park Avenue and Orange Street stations.

IMPORTANT: All trains will operate on a regular Sunday schedule.

Please allow for extra travel time, check the destination sign prior to boarding, and listen for station announcements.
