UPDATE: Newark Penn Station: Track 1 Escalator 8 Temporarily Out of Service – Effective Immediately
UPDATE: Escalator has returned to service.
Effective immediately and continuing until further notice, Escalator 8, serving Track 1 in the Main/South Concourse (near Starbucks) at Newark Penn Station, will be temporarily out of service for repairs.
During this time, customers may use Escalator 7 or passenger elevator in the vendor/North Concourse to access the platform. Nearby stairs (by Auntie Anne’s) are also available.
