NJ TRANSIT Rail Service for Memorial Day Weekend – Friday, May 27 to Monday, May 30, 2022

NJ TRANSIT will operate modified rail service during the Memorial Day weekend as detailed below. For complete rail schedule information, see Train Schedules.

  • Friday, May 27:
    • Additional trains departing New York, Newark Penn Station and Hoboken between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM and operating on the Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast, Raritan Valley, Morris & Essex and Port Jervis Lines.
      • To support the early getaway service outlined above, certain trains on the Northeast Corridor and North Jersey Coast Line operating between 5:00 and 7:00 PM will be cancelled.
    • Three regular Northeast Corridor trains – departing New York at 3:30 PM, 4:27 PM and 4:50 PM – will add Newark Airport stops.

  • Saturday, May 28 and Sunday, May 29: Trains will operate on a normal schedule. Hourly shuttle service between Long Branch and Bay Head will be provided. For more information on the additional NJCL service, including a complete schedule, click here.

  • Monday, May 30 (Memorial Day): Trains will operate on a normal weekend/major holiday schedule, including Port Jervis Line Train 88 (departing Port Jervis at 4:05 PM). Hourly shuttle service between Long Branch and Bay Head will be provided.
