NJ TRANSIT Rail Service for July 4th Weekend – Friday, July 1 to Monday, July 4, 2022

NJ TRANSIT will operate modified rail service during the July 4th weekend as detailed below. For complete rail schedule information, see Train Schedules.
- Friday, July 1:
- Additional trains departing New York, Newark Penn Station and Hoboken between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM will operate on the Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast, Raritan Valley, Morris & Essex and Port Jervis Lines.
- To support the early getaway service outlined above, certain trains on the Northeast Corridor and North Jersey Coast Line operating between 5:00 and 7:00 PM will be cancelled.
- Three regular Northeast Corridor trains – departing New York at 3:30 PM, 4:27 PM and 4:50 PM – will add Newark Airport stops.
- Additional trains departing New York, Newark Penn Station and Hoboken between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM will operate on the Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast, Raritan Valley, Morris & Essex and Port Jervis Lines.
- Saturday, July 2 and Sunday, July 3: Trains will operate on a normal weekend schedule.
- Monday, July 4 (4th of July): Trains will operate on a normal weekend/major holiday schedule, including Port Jervis Line Train 88 (departing Port Jervis at 4:05 PM).
