Newark Light Rail: Boarding Changes due to Track Work - Saturday, July 2, 2022

On Saturday, July 2 from 6AM to 5:30PM, boarding changes will occur on NJ TRANSIT’s Newark Light Rail due to scheduled track maintenance work as follows:

Boarding Changes:

• All trains will arrive on the outbound platforms at Atlantic Street, Riverfront Stadium, and Broad Street stations.
• Inbound platforms will be closed at Washington Park and Broad Street stations.

NOTE: Inbound trains at Washington Park Station will run via Atlantic Street. Customers wishing to travel to Newark Penn Station may use Atlantic Street Station as an alternative during this outage.

IMPORTANT: All trains will operate on a regular Saturday schedule.

Please allow for extra travel time, check the destination sign prior to boarding, and listen for station announcements.
