Boarding Changes at Linden Station – August 29 and August 30, 2022
Beginning at approximately 11 PM Monday, August 29 and continuing until 5 AM Tuesday, August 30, boarding adjustments are required at Linden Station for Amtrak maintenance work as follows:
- Customers boarding eastbound (to Newark/New York) trains at Linden Station will use the low-level platforms on the westbound side (off track B, normally to Trenton/Long Branch/Bay Head).
- Because the westbound platform at Linden will be used for trains traveling in both directions, and for their own safety, customers must follow the directions of NJ TRANSIT personnel and remain on the platform until directed to the low-level platform by NJT personnel.
Note: this change may also be in effect from 11 PM Tuesday, August 30 until 5 AM Wednesday, August 31 based on the progress of the work.
Please allow for extra travel time, listen to station announcements, and follow the directions of NJT personnel.
