Newark Light Rail: Boarding Changes & Schedule Adjustments due to Construction Maintenance– Saturday, September 24, and Sunday, September 25, 2022

On Saturday, September 24 from 6AM to 5:30PM, and on Sunday, September 25 from 2AM to 5:30PM, boarding changes and schedule adjustments will occur on NJ TRANSIT’s Newark Light Rail due to scheduled construction maintenance work as follows:

Boarding Changes on Saturday, September 24, 6AM - 5:30PM:

• All trains will arrive on the inbound platforms at Center Street/NJPAC Station. 
• Outbound platforms will be closed at Center Street/NJPAC Station.

Boarding Changes on Sunday, September 25, 2AM - 5:30PM:

• All trains will arrive on the inbound platforms at Davenport Avenue and Bloomfield Avenue stations. 
• Outbound platforms will be closed at Davenport Avenue and Bloomfield Avenue stations.

Schedule Adjustments:

• All trains will operate on a regular Sunday schedule BOTH DAYS.

Please allow for extra travel time, check the destination sign prior to boarding, and listen for station announcements.
