North Jersey Coast Line: Possible Delays due to Track Maintenance – Thursday, March 9, 2023
Possible delays up to 15 minutes for most trains
On Thursday, March 9, most North Jersey Coast Line trains will be subject to delays of up to 15 minutes from 9AM until 3PM due to maintenance work on the Lincoln Avenue Bridge in Elberon. The following trains are subject to delay:
- Shuttle trains operating between Bay Head and Long Branch in both directions.
- New York-bound trains departing Long Branch may be delayed if their connecting shuttle train is running late.
- NOTE: The 11:29AM shuttle train from Long Branch (Train 4331) may operate up to 30 minutes late.
During this period, trains will operate on Track 1 (normal westbound track – to Bay Head) in both directions at Elberon, Allenhurst, Asbury Park and Bradley Beach.
Customers should check which direction the train is traveling in and listen carefully to pre-boarding announcements.
We appreciate your patience during this important project.
