Secaucus Junction: Planned Power Testing – April 5, 2023

On Wednesday, April 5, from approximately 2AM to 5AM, NJ TRANSIT will perform testing of the Secaucus Junction building electrical system. The testing is being performed during the overnight to minimize impacts on customers.

During these hours, power MAY be lost for five minutes or less in different sections of the building, primarily affecting electronic departure signs, announcements and lighting. Most other building functions will NOT be affected, including elevators and escalators.

NJ TRANSIT employees, technicians and New Jersey Transit Police will be on site during the testing period.
