UPDATE: Pascack Valley Line: Regular Train Service Resumes Monday, May 22, 2023

Through Sunday, May 21, Pascack Valley Line trains will be replaced by Coach USA buses as noted below due to grade crossing replacements at multiple locations and other infrastructure maintenance.

Beginning Monday, May 22, normal weekday and weekend Pascack Valley Line rail service resumes. Schedule information is available in the PVL fanfold schedule dated April 23, 2023, as well as in new printer-friendly schedules taking effect on May 22 (weekdays) and May 27 (weekends).

Service Information for the weekend of May 20-21:

  • NO PVL trains will operate.
  • Local and NY State express buses will operate between Spring Valley and Secaucus.
  • Customers will use Main, Bergen County, and Port Jervis Line trains to travel between Secaucus and Hoboken.

Weekday Service Information – through Friday, May 19:

  • From approximately 9AM to 3PM on weekdays until May 19, the following trains will be affected:
    • To Hoboken: Trains 1622, 1652, 1624, 1626, 1628 and 1630 will be replaced by buses operating from Spring Valley/Montvale/New Bridge Landing to Secaucus, with connecting rail service operating from Secaucus to Hoboken.
    • From Hoboken: Trains 1605, 1607, 1611, 1613 and 1617 will operate to Secaucus only, with connecting bus service operating from Secaucus to New Bridge Landing/Spring Valley. Train 1651 will not operate.
    • These Westbound shuttle trains from Hoboken have been renumbered and will appear as BetMGM trains/Meadowlands Rail Line on monitors in Hoboken (an example of what the BMGM Train will look like on monitors and DepartureVision can be seen in the screenshot below). PVL customers are advised to use these trains to travel to Secaucus Junction Station to connect with PVL shuttle buses.Betmgm May
