NJ TRANSIT Evening Morris & Essex Line Service Impacts due to Overhead Wire Repairs near Summit – Monday, August 14, 2023
On Monday evening, August 14, rail service on the Morris & Essex Line will operate with select cancelations and delays of up to 30 minutes due to extensive repairs to the overhead catenary wires near Summit. The damage to the wires occurred following a severe, early morning thunderstorm on Sunday that brought down trees in the area.
