Hudson-Bergen Light Rail: Boarding Changes & Schedule Adjustments due to Construction – Saturday, December 2, and Sunday, December 3, 2023

On Saturday, December 2, from 6AM until end of service, and Sunday, December 3, from 6AM until 7PM, schedule adjustments will occur on NJ TRANSIT Hudson-Bergen Light Rail due to construction.

Boarding Changes:

  • Saturday, December 2, and Sunday, December 3: Track 2 out of service between West Side and Garfield avenues. All trains will be arriving and departing on Track 1 at West Side Avenue, MLK, and Garfield Avenue stations.

Saturday, December 2 Departure Times:

From 6AM to Midnight

Northbound Departures (in minutes after the hour):

  • 8th Street to Hoboken Terminal - :09, :29, :49
  • West Side Avenue to Bergenline Avenue Station - :01, :21, :41

Southbound Departures (in minutes after the hour):

  • Hoboken Terminal to 8th Street - :05, :25, :45
  • Bergenline Avenue Station to West Side Avenue - :16, :36, :56

From Midnight to End of Service

Northbound Departures (in minutes after the hour):

  • 8th Street to Hoboken Terminal - :19, :29 :49
  • West Side Avenue to Bergenline Avenue Station - :18, :48

Southbound Departures (in minutes after the hour):

  • Hoboken Terminal to 8th Street - :05, :25, :45
  • Bergenline Avenue Station to West Side Avenue - :16, :36, :56

 

Sunday, December 3 Departure Times:

From 6AM to 6PM

Northbound Departures (in minutes after the hour):

  • 8th Street to Hoboken Terminal - :09, :29, :49
  • West Side Avenue to Bergenline Avenue Station - :01, :21, :41

Southbound Departures (in minutes after the hour):

  • Hoboken Terminal to 8th Street - :05, :25, :45
  • Bergenline Avenue Station to West Side Avenue - :16, :36, :56

After 6PM on Sunday, normal weekend revenue service will resume.

Please allow for extra travel time, check the destination sign prior to boarding, and listen for station announcements.
