Morris & Essex and Montclair-Boonton Lines: Possible Delays due to Track Work – Saturday, June 1 to Sunday, June 2, 2024

Possible delays of up to 15 minutes

From 6AM Saturday, June 1, until 6PM Sunday, June 2, Morris & Essex Line trains in both directions may face delays of 15 minutes due to trackwork near Newark Broad Street Station.

During this time, most Hoboken and New York-bound trains on the Morris & Essex Line and Montclair-Boonton Line will arrive and depart on Track 2, while most Dover and Bay Street-bound trains will arrive and depart from Track 1. Customers will walk along the platform to transfer between trains.

Please listen for announcements, check passenger information boards, and follow any instructions from NJ TRANSIT uniformed staff members to ensure you are on the proper train. We appreciate your patience during this important project, please allow for extra travel time and obey all posted signage.
