Bus Detour for Nos. 37 and 107 in Newark - Effective Immediately

Effective immediately until Thursday, May 15, from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM, Elizabeth Avenue will be closed between Lyons Avenue and Renner Avenue for a food drive. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 37 and 107 in Newark will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Newark Airport and PABT will travel from Lyons Avenue and Bergen Street, make a left on Bergen Street, right on Watson Avenue, right on Elizabeth Avenue, right on Meeker Avenue, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward Ivy Hill and South Orange will travel from Meeker Avenue and Elizabeth Avenue, right on Elizabeth Avenue, left on Watson Avenue, left on Bergen Street, right on Lyons Avenue, and then continue the regular route.  

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
