Bus Detour for No. 34 in Bloomfield – Monday, May 26, 2025

Effective Monday, May 26, from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM, Broad Street will be closed between Liberty Street and Bloomfield Avenue due to a Memorial Day Parade.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 34 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Newark will travel from Liberty Street at Oakland Avenue, make a left on Oakland Avenue, right on Montgomery Street, left on Franklin Street, right on Burroughs Place, right on Bloomfield Avenue, left on Municipal Plaza, left on Conger Street, left on Glenwood Avenue, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward Bloomfield will not be affected. 

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
