Bus Detour for Nos. 11 & 29 in Montclair – Monday, May 26, 2025

Effective Monday, May 26, from 7:00 AM until 2:00 PM, Bloomfield Avenue will be closed between Highland Avenue and Park Street due to a Memorial Day Parade.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 11 and 29 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Newark will travel from Bloomfield Avenue and Park Street, make a left on Park Street, right on Clearmont Avenue, right on Grove Street, left on Glenridge Avenue, right on Highland Avenue, left on Bloomfield Avenue, and then continue the regular route.  
• Buses traveling toward Montclair, Wayne & West Caldwell will travel from Bloomfield and Highland avenues, make a right on Highland Avenue, left on Glenridge Avenue, right on Grove Street, left on Clearmont Avenue, left on Park Street, right on Bloomfield Avenue, and then continue the regular route.    

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
