Bus Detour for No. 705 in Clifton – Effective Immediately

Effective immediately, and continuing until Friday, May 30 at 5PM, Clifton Avenue will be closed between Third and Fourth streets due to utility work. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 705 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Passaic will travel from Clifton Avenue and Fourth Street, make a left on Fourth Street, right on Harding Avenue, right on Third Street, left on Clifton Avenue, and then continue the regular route.     
• Buses traveling toward Wayne will travel from Clifton Avenue and Third Street, make a right on Third Street, left on Harding Avenue, left on Fourth Street, right on Main Avenue, and then continue the regular route.      

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
