Bus Detour for No. 838 in Freehold – Effective Immediately

Effective immediately and continuing until Friday, June 13 at 6:00 PM, Main Street will be closed between South and McClean streets due to road work.  

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 838 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Sea Bright will travel from Main Street and Freehold Center, make a right on Main Street, left on McClean Street, left on South Street, right on Main Street, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward Freehold Mall will travel from Main and South streets, make a left on South Street, right on Lincoln Place, right on Main Street, left into Freehold Center, and then continue the regular route.  

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
