Bus Detour for No. 41 in East Orange – Friday, July 4, 2025

Effective Friday, July 4, from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Park Avenue will be closed between Prospect Street and North Oraton Parkway due to a Fourth of July parade.   

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 41 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Newark will travel from Park Avenue and Prospect Street, make a right on Prospect Street, left on William Street, left on North Maple Avenue, right on Park Avenue, and then continue the regular route.        
• Buses traveling toward Orange will travel from Park and North Maple avenues, make a right on North Maple Avenue, left on Springdale Avenue, left on Glenwood Avenue, right on Park Avenue, and then continue the regular route. 

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
