Bus Detour for No. 166 in Tenafly - Tuesday, August 26, 2025

Effective Tuesday, August 26, from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Engle Street will be closed between East Hudson Avenue and Westervelt Avenue for milling and paving.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 166 in Tenafly will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward New York will travel from Dean Drive and Huyler Avenue, continue on Dean Drive into Englewood, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward Paterson will travel from Engle Street and East Hudson Avenue, make a left on East Hudson Avenue, right on Dean Drive, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
