Bus Detour for No. 94 in Union – Sunday, October 5, 2025

Effective Sunday, October 5, from 6:00 AM until 7:00 PM, Stuyvesant Avenue will be closed between West Chestnut Street and Vauxhall Road due to a car show.    

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 94 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Linden/Union Center for Linden service will travel from Stuyvesant Avenue and Vauxhall Road, make a right on Vauxhall Road, left on Caldwell Avenue, left on West Chestnut Street, right on Chestnut Street, and then continue the regular route. For Union Center service, buses will travel from Stuyvesant Avenue and Vauxhall Road, make a left on Vauxhall Road, turn around to head outbound, make a left on Grandview Avenue, left on Haines Avenue, right on Stuyvesant Avenue, and then continue the regular route.    
• Buses traveling toward Bloomfield will travel from Chestnut and West Chestnut streets, make a left on West Chestnut Street, right on Caldwell Avenue, right on Vauxhall Road, left on Stuyvesant Avenue, and then continue the regular route. 

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
