Bus Detour for No. 166 in Tenafly - Sunday, October 19, 2025

Effective Sunday, October 19, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Highwood Avenue and Hillside Avenue will be closed between Highwood Avenue and County Road for Fall Fest.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 166 in Tenafly will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward PABT will travel from Riveredge Road (Jay Street) and Highwood Avenue, continue on Jay Street, make a right on County Road, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward Cresskill will travel from County Road and Hillside Avenue, continue on County Road, make a left on Jay Street, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
