Bus Detour for No. 34M in East Orange – Monday, October 13, 2025

Effective Monday, October 13, from 7:00 AM until 7:00 PM, Springdale Avenue, Ampere Plaza, and 4th Avenue will be closed between Roosevelt Avenue and North 9th Street due to a Netflix Movie Shoot.    

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 34M will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Newark will travel from Springdale and Roosevelt avenues, make a right on Roosevelt Avenue, right on Rutledge Avenue, right on Hoffman Boulevard, bear right on Ampere Parkway, left on Springdale Avenue, right on North 11th Street, left on 4th Avenue, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward Montclair will travel from 4th Avenue and North 9th Street, make a left on North 9th Street, left on Springdale Avenue, right on Ampere Parkway, left on Hoffman Boulevard, left on Rutledge Avenue, left on Roosevelt Avenue, right on Springdale Avenue, and then continue the regular route.  

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
