Bus Detour for No. 48 in Rahway - Sunday, November 9, 2025

Effective Sunday, November 9, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, West Milton Avenue will be closed between Fulton Street/Irving Street and Jaques Avenue for the Liberty Harley Toy Run. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 48 (Woodbridge Service) in Rahway will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Elizabeth will travel from Jaques Avenue and West Emerson Avenue, make a right on West Emerson Avenue, left on Fulton Street, right on Milton Avenue, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward Woodbridge will travel from Irving Street/Fulton Street and Milton Avenue, continue on Fulton Street, make a right on East Emerson Avenue, left on Jaques Avenue, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
