Bus Detour for Nos. 601, 606, 608, 609 & 619 in Trenton – Saturday, October 18, 2025
Effective Saturday, October 18, from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM, West State Street will be closed between Barrack and Calhoun streets due to a protest.
During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 601, 606, 608, 609 & 619 will operate on a detour as follows:
- Buses traveling toward TCNJ/Ewing/Hopewell will travel from West State Street and North Willow Street, make a right on North Willow Street, left on Hanover Street, left on Calhoun Street, right on West State Street, and then continue the regular route.
- Buses traveling toward Mercer County College/Hamilton Rail/Quaker will travel from West State and Calhoun streets, make a left on Calhoun Street, right on West Hanover Street, right on North Willow Street, left on West State Street, and then continue the regular route.
Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
