Bus Detour for No. 126 in Jersey City – Thursday, October 23, 2025

Effective Thursday, October 23, from 6:00 AM until 8:00 PM, Hamilton Park will be closed between Erie Street and West Hamilton Place due to a movie shoot. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 126 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward New York will travel from Erie and 9th streets, make a right on 9th Street, and then continue the regular route.  
• Buses traveling toward Hamilton Park will travel from 8th and Erie streets, make a right on Erie Street, and end trips at Erie and 9th streets.   

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
