NEC, NJCL & Midtown Direct: Delays due to Amtrak Track Work – Until Early Sunday, February 15, 2026
Beginning at 9:00 PM on Friday, February 13 and continuing until 3:00 AM early Sunday, February 15, Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast Line, and Midtown Direct trains are subject to delays of up to 20 minutes in each direction as Amtrak begins work on the Portal Bridge cutover.
TRAINS TO NEW YORK
- Trains may be delayed at Secaucus and New York Penn stations.
TRAINS FROM NEW YORK
- Trains may be delayed at all stops between Newark and their final destination, including Dover, Long Branch, Trenton, and Rahway.
- NOTE: North Jersey Coast Line shuttle trains to Bay Head may also be delayed during this time.
