Bus Detour for No. 21 in West Orange - Tuesday, November 11, 2025

Effective Tuesday, November 11, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Main Street will be closed between Northfield Avenue and Mt. Pleasant Avenue for a Veterans' Day service. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 21 in West Orange will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Newark will travel from Mt. Pleasant Avenue and Main Street, make a right on Mt. Pleasant Avenue, left on Gregory Avenue, left on Northfield Avenue, right on Main Street, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward West Orange will travel from Main Street and Northfield Avenue, make a left on Northfield Avenue, right on Gregory Avenue, right on Mt. Pleasant Avenue, left on Main Street, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
