Bus Detour for No. 87 in Jersey City – Effective Immediately

Effective immediately, and continuing until 6:00 PM, Martin Luther King Jr. Drive will be closed between Bayview and Claremount avenues due to road work.     

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 87 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Hoboken Bus Terminal will travel from Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Bay Avenue, make a right on Bay Avenue, left on Ocean Avenue, left on Claremount Avenue, right on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, and then continue the regular route.   
• Buses traveling toward Gates Avenue will travel from Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Claremount Avenue, make a right on Claremount Avenue, left on Bergen Avenue, left on Stegman Street, right on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, and then continue the regular route. 

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
