Bus Detour for Nos. 59 & 112 in Elizabeth – Effective Immediately

Effective immediately and continuing until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 29, West Jersey Street will be closed between Grove and Chilton streets due to a movie shoot.    

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 59 and 112 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward New York/Newark will travel from West Jersey and Grove streets, make a right on Grove Street, left on Rahway Avenue, left on Cherry Street, right on West Jersey Street, and then continue the regular route.   
• Buses traveling toward Dunellen/Scotch Plains will travel from West Jersey and Chilton streets, make a left on Chilton Street, right on Rahway Avenue, right on Grove Street, left on West Jersy Street, and then continue the regular route.         

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
