Bus Detour for Routes 131 & 135 in Marlboro – Effective Immediately

Effective immediately and continuing until January 30, 2026, the bus stop at Marlboro Mall Plaza will be relocated due to ongoing construction. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 131 and 135 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward New York will travel from South Main Street and School Road, make a left on School Road, left into Marlboro Mall, left in lot at Ballon Bar Boutique, pick up customers at Santander Bank, left in lot at Santander Bank, right on School Road, left on South Main Street, and then continue the regular route.      
• Buses traveling toward Freehold will travel from South Main Street and School Road, make a left on School Road, left into Marlboro Mall, left into lot at Ballon Bar Boutique, drop off customers at Santander Bank, left in lot at Santander Bank, right on School Road, left on South Main Street, and then continue the regular route.            

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
