Bus Detour for Nos. 402 & 408 in Gloucester City – Effective Immediately
Effective immediately, and continuing until 7:00 AM on Friday, November 7, Essex Street will be closed between Broadway and I-676 due to railroad crossing construction.
During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 402 and 408 will operate on a detour as follows:
- Buses traveling toward Philadelphia will travel from Broadway and Essex Street, continue on Broadway, right on Holtec Boulevard, right on I-676 Northbound, and then continue the regular route.
- Buses traveling toward Millville will travel from I-676 Southbound and Exit 3, make a right on Exit 3 to Holtec Boulevard, left on Broadway, and then continue the regular route.
Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
We appreciate your patience as we accommodate this temporary routing adjustment.
