Bus Detour for No. 817 in South Amboy – Effective Immediately

Effective immediately and continuing until 3:30 PM on Friday, November 7, North Broadway will be closed between Main and Augusta streets due to road work.  

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 817 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Campbell’s Junction will travel from Main Street and North Stevens Avenue, make a right on North Stevens Avenue, left on Augusta Street, right on North Broadway, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward Perth Amboy will not be affected.  

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
