Bus Detour for No. 57 in Linden – Thursday, November 20, 2025

Effective Thursday, November 20, from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM, Wood Avenue will be closed between Elizabeth and Linden Avenues due to paving work. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 57 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Elizabeth will travel from Linden and Wood Avenues, make a left on Linden Avenue, right on Stiles Street, right on Elizabeth Avenue, and then continue the regular route.        
• Buses traveling toward Linden will travel from Elizabeth and Wood Avenues, continue on Elizabeth Avenue, make a left on Stiles Street, left on Linden Avenue, right on Wood Avenue, and then continue the regular route.    

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
