Bus Detour for Nos. 400, 401, 402, 404, 406, 409, 410, and 412 in Philadelphia - Thursday, December 4, 2025

Effective Thursday, December 4, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM, Market Street will be closed between 11th Street and Arch Street for a Christmas Tree Lighting event. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 400, 401, 402, 404, 406, 409, 410, and 412 in Philadelphia will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward various locations will travel from Market Street at 11th Street, make a right on 11th Street, left on Arch Street, right on Broad Street, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
