Bus Detour for No. 552 in Middle Township – Friday, December 5, 2025

Effective Friday, December 5, from 5:00 PM until 9:30 PM, Route 9 will be closed between Court House/South Dennis Road and Shell Bay Avenue due to a Christmas parade. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 552 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Atlantic City will travel from Route 9 and Shell Bay Avenue, make a right on Shell Bay Avenue, make a left on Bayberry Drive, left on Stone Harbor Boulevard, right on Route 9, and then continue the regular route.    
• Buses traveling toward Cape May will travel from Route 9 and Stone Harbor Boulevard, make a left on Stone Harbor Boulevard, right on Bayberry Drive, right on Shell Bay Avenue, left on Route 9, and then continue the regular route. 

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
