Bus Detour for No. 25 in Newark – Monday, November 24, 2025 

Effective Monday, November 24, from 7:00 PM until Tuesday, November 25 at 7:00 AM, Doremus Avenue will be closed between Wilson and Roanoke Avenues due to track work.  

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 25 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Doremus Avenue will travel from Wilson and Doremus Avenues, make a left on Doremus Avenue, and then continue the regular route.          
• Buses traveling toward Maplewood will travel from Doremus Avenue and Correctional Center, make a right on Doremus Avenue, right on Wilson Avenue, and then continue the regular route.           

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
