Bus Detour for Nos. 319 and 552 in West Cape May - Saturday, December 6, 2025

Effective Saturday, December 6, from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, West Perry Street and Broadway will be closed between Broad Street and West Perry Street for a Christmas Parade. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 319 and 552 in West Cape May will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Atlantic City will travel from the Cape May Welcome Center at Broad Street, make a right as Broad Street turns into St John Street, right on Sydney Avenue, left on Lafayette Street, left on Washington Street, continue on 109 North, take the jug handle to Route 9 North, Route 552 will make a right on Seashore Road to resume the regular route, Route 319 will make a right on Route 9 to resume the regular route, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward Cape May will travel from Seashore Road at Route 9, make a left on Route 9 South, bear right on Route 109 South, continue as Route 109 turns into Lafayette Street, enter the Cape May Welcome Center, and then continue the regular route. 

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
