Bus Detour for No. 501 in Atlantic City – Saturday, December 13, 2025

Effective Saturday, December 13, from 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Atlantic/Carolina Avenues will be closed between the Atlantic City Bus Terminal and Huron Avenue due to the Atlantic City Christmas Parade. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 501 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Brigantine will travel from Atlantic City Bus Terminal and Ohio Avenue, make a left on Ohio Avenue, right on Arctic Avenue, left on Martin Luther King Boulevard, and then continue the regular route.  
• Buses traveling toward Atlantic City Bus Terminal will travel from Renaissance Point Boulevard and Borgata Casino, continue on Renaissance Point Boulevard, right on Huron Avenue, continue on Martin Luther King Bouelvard, right on Baltic Avenue, left on Michigan Avenue, left on Arctic Avenue, and then enter Atlantic City Bus Terminal.     

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
