Bus Detour for No. 505 in Atlantic City - Saturday, December 13, 2025

Effective Saturday, December 13, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, service on Bus Route No. 505 will be adjusted due to the Atlantic City Christmas Parade Truncation.

During this period, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 505 in Atlantic City will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Longport will travel from Bader Field (beginning the trip to Longport 5 minutes before scheduled time on Boston Avenue), make a left on Albany Avenue, make a right on Ventnor Avenue to board passengers, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward Venice Park will travel from Ventnor Avenue and Harrison Avenue (last stop to alight passengers), make a left on Albany Avenue, make a right on Crossan Avenue, layover at Bader Field, and then continue the regular route. There will be no service to Atlantic City until the parade ends.

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
